of us to decide what level of customization we need or want. Shoot the
pistol and make up your own mind based on your own perceived needs
and don't necessarily jump on the latest change, part, or fad.

Figure 31. This Mk III 9mm has Spegel grips, a bobbed hammer
spur, right-side factory thumb safety lever removed and the frame's
been matte blued. Sights are factory standard as is the bbl, and it's
had a trigger job. I'll bet I cannot do better in either slow, accurate
fire or rapid, defensive type shooting with a more extensively
customized Hi Power than this one. For me, this set-up provides all
of what I "need" and still looks pretty good to me as well.
